Delete your account

You can delete your Novash account at any time, right in the app. Here is exactly what happens.

30 days to change your mind

After you confirm, your account is scheduled for permanent deletion 30 days later. Sign in before then to cancel.

Before you start

Export anything you want to keep. Go to Settings, then Account Information, then Export Passwords. Once your account is erased, nobody can bring your vault back, including us.
Cancel your subscription separately. Deleting your account does not stop billing, because Apple manages the subscription. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel Novash there.

Delete in the app

Open Novash and unlock your vault.
Go to Settings, then Account Information.
Tap Delete account.
Type your account email to confirm, then tap Delete account.

The app shows the exact date and time of permanent deletion (03:00 UTC, 30 days later) and then signs you out.

Change your mind

Sign in to Novash at any time during the 30 days. The app shows how long is left and offers Cancel deletion. Tap it and your account is back exactly as it was.

What is erased

On the deletion date, your account and everything stored with it on our servers are permanently erased: your encrypted vault, folders, devices, activity history, settings, and feedback. Copies in backups are removed on the normal backup cycle. Purchase records held by Apple and RevenueCat follow their own retention rules. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Can't open the app?

Email support@novash.app from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm the request comes from you, then schedule the deletion. We will never ask for your master password or recovery key.
