1. Who we are
These terms are an agreement between you and Abdulrahman Elmahdi Ramadan Rabia, an individual developer (sole trader) who operates Novash ("Novash," "we," "us").
Abdulrahman Elmahdi Ramadan Rabia

Email: support@novash.app
Our full provider details are on the Legal Notice. Apple distributes the app and sells the subscription, but Apple is not responsible for the Novash service, except for the duties described in section 11.
2. The service
Novash is a password manager for iPhone and iPad. You can store logins and other private items, generate passwords, fill them with AutoFill, and sync an encrypted vault across the devices you sign in to. Your vault is encrypted on your device before it is uploaded, and we design Novash so that we cannot read it.
We work hard to keep Novash secure and available. Still, no software or security measure can rule out every risk, such as a guessed master password, malware on your device, or a software defect. So, to the extent the law allows, Novash is provided as available, and we do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. This does not limit the rights described in section 9.
3. Your account and keys
You must give an accurate email address and keep your devices and your account under your control. You are responsible for what happens in a session you have unlocked.
You choose your master password, and it never leaves your device. Your vault key is stored on our server only in wrapped form, which your master password or your recovery key can open. Because we never have either of them, we cannot reset your master password the way a website resets a login. If you lose both your master password and your recovery key, your vault cannot be recovered. Keep your recovery key somewhere safe, outside the vault.
If you think someone else has access to your account, change your master password, sign out devices you do not recognize, and tell us at support@novash.app.
4. Subscriptions
Novash requires a subscription. Apple sells it through the App Store. The price, the billing period, any free trial, and the date of the first charge are the ones shown in the app before you confirm.
- Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- The subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple account settings at any time: on your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's rules. We never receive your card details and cannot change an Apple refund decision.
If your subscription ends, your vault stays yours: you can still open it, view and copy what you saved, and export it. Adding and editing items, AutoFill, passkeys, authenticator codes, and the other subscriber features need an active subscription.
5. Right of withdrawal in the EU, UK, and Switzerland
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you usually have 14 days to withdraw from an online contract without giving a reason. For a digital service that starts right away, you can lose this right once the service begins, if you first agreed to it starting during the withdrawal period and confirmed you understood this. The purchase screen in the app asks for that consent before you subscribe or start a trial.
Where the right still applies, you can withdraw by emailing support@novash.app with a clear statement (you may use the model withdrawal form in Annex I(B) of Directive 2011/83/EU) and by cancelling the subscription in your Apple account settings. We will confirm that we received it. Apple's refund rules may also apply. Your mandatory consumer rights are never reduced by these terms.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or store data you have no right to store;
- try to access an account, vault, or system you are not allowed to access;
- test, probe, or disrupt the service, except for good-faith research that follows our Vulnerability Disclosure Policy;
- use the import tool on files you are not allowed to read.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, or when the law requires it. Where practical and where the law requires it, we will first email you the reason and give you a chance to respond. We may act without notice if waiting would cause serious harm, fraud, or legal risk. Amounts already charged by Apple follow Apple's refund rules.
7. Your vault and our software
What you put in your vault stays yours. You give us only the right to store the encrypted copy and send it to your signed-in devices, so we can provide the service. We never claim ownership of your data.
The app, the name Novash, and this website belong to us or are used under license. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, under the App Store rules. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the app, except where the law gives you that right.
8. Other products' names
The import screen names other password managers and browsers only to say which export files Novash can read. Those names belong to their owners, who are not affiliated with Novash and do not endorse it. Import reads the formats it recognizes, and we cannot promise that every export from every product will import completely.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for intentional misconduct or gross negligence where the law does not allow such a limit, or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you keep all the mandatory rights of your country, including your legal rights when digital content or a digital service is not as described (including under Directive (EU) 2019/770). If you are a consumer in the United States, you keep any right that your state does not allow these terms to waive.
Subject to the paragraph above, and only as far as the law allows: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data caused by losing your master password and recovery key, or by events we could not reasonably prevent. Our total liability for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid for Novash in that period. This limit does not reduce the mandatory consumer remedies of your country.
If you use Novash for business, you will cover claims brought against us by others because you broke the law or these terms, as far as the law allows. We do not ask this of consumers where it would be unfair.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Please read it together with these terms. If anything here conflicts with a privacy right that cannot be waived, that right wins.
11. Apple
Because you download Novash from the Apple App Store, this section applies. If it conflicts with another section on the same point, this section controls. These terms are between you and Abdulrahman Elmahdi Ramadan Rabia only, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
Your license is a non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the app may be accessed by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing where Apple allows it.
We, not Apple, are responsible for maintenance and support. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price of the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. We, not Apple, are responsible for any other claims relating to the app, including product-liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy, or similar laws.
If a third party claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual-property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging that claim. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must follow any third-party terms that apply when you use the app.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
12. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app. Permanent deletion happens 30 days after you confirm, and you can cancel it in the app before then. Export anything you need first, because we cannot restore your vault after deletion. Deleting your account does not cancel your Apple subscription, so cancel that separately. See Delete Your Account for the steps.
We may stop providing Novash if we discontinue it, if it is removed from the App Store, or if section 6 allows. Where the law requires notice, we will give it, with enough time for you to export your vault.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by publishing a new version with a new date. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will tell you in the app or by email before it applies. Where the law requires your agreement, the change applies only once you accept it. If you do not agree, you can stop using Novash and delete your account before the change applies.
14. Disputes and governing law
These terms do not require arbitration and do not waive class actions. If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you can bring a claim in the courts where you live, and the mandatory law of your country applies. You can also use an out-of-court consumer scheme where your country offers one.
For everyone else, these terms are governed by the laws of Libya, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Derna, Libya, have jurisdiction, unless a mandatory consumer law where you live gives you a different court or rule.
15. General
If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a term right away, we do not give up the right to enforce it later. These terms, the Privacy Policy, and the App Store terms that apply to your download and subscription are the whole agreement between us about Novash. Headings are for convenience only.
